		<description>I think of short term as holding for days or weeks, medium or intermediate term as holding for weeks or maybe months, and long term as holding for a year or more.  It's a subjective thing, so everybody's got a slightly different definition, and it's not a bad thing to ask if you're curious about how somebody is using it.

By design, the systems I'm describing on this site are intermediate term systems, but it is possible that some holdings will be long-term if conditions are right.</description>

I am always puzzled by the definitions of short, term and long term, and I would be very much grateful to know your view on these definitions, because I really do not know how long I need to hold a stock for short, mid and long terms.
